     When the doctor arrived after viewing the ultrasound she informed us that she could not locate part of our son's brain, his cerebellum. She told us she was referring us to a specialist.
     Ashley began to cry, and because of my ignorance and shock I didn't know what to say or do.
     As I walked out of the office with my wife, that moment at Cathedral-Carmel four years earlier replayed in my mind:
"Hey Coach, what is your greatest fear?"

My greatest fear was to have a mentally or physically handicapped child. And in the blink of an eye, it had become my reality.
